BMM team volunteers at Habitat for Humanity build day

On Friday, October 31, seven members of the Berkshire Money Management team joined Co-Founder and Chief Engagement Officer Stacey Carver on her all-women Habitat for Humanity crew, Team Pretty Tough, for a Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project volunteer day in Housatonic, MA.

The BMM team — Stacey Carver, Chelsea Smith, Tammy Gaherty, Lauren Beckett, Kim Campagna, Brenda Bailly, and Sarah Curtiss — worked alongside other volunteers to hang drywall, install siding, build a deck, and remove temporary framing used during the delivery of new modular homes. Altogether, the BMM team logged about 42 volunteer hours on the project. When finished, the Prosperity Way development will provide affordable housing for 20 local families.

The build day wasn’t just opportunity for Berkshire Money Management to support Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity and give back to our community – it was also great way for the crew to build new skills and spend quality time together outside the office.
