Berkshire Money Management provides matching funds to local food pantry
What’s better than supporting our neighbors facing food insecurity? Helping to fund our local public radio station at the same time!
During WAMC‘s June 2024 Fund Drive, Berkshire Money Management funded a special premium item for donors: instead of a crank radio or NPR tote bag, listeners making a pledge of $100 or more could choose to have BMM send a matching gift of $100 to the South Community Food Pantry in Pittsfield, MA.
The match raised $20,000 for WAMC and $20,000 for South Community Food Pantry. Berkshire Money Management added another $5,000 for a total gift of $25,000 to combat hunger in the Berkshires!
