Berkshire Money Management Second Celebration for BHS Nurses

The second celebration picnic for nurses employed by Berkshire Health Systems was held on Sunday, May 19, at Berkshire Money Management’s headquarters at 161 Main Street. The day’s events included food and beverages, music, fire juggling, tarot readings and much more on the beautiful grounds of the firm’s historic Model Farm estate. Nurses and their families were invited to enjoy the festivities.

“Somehow people at BMM are always getting hurt. We work hard, and apparently play a little too hard,” says BMM founder and CEO Allen Harris. “The nurses of BHS have been taking care of us at BMM for a couple decades, and me specifically for nearly a half-century. I am glad to have the opportunity to show them our appreciation.”

Berkshire Money Management has long been a supporter of local nurses and medical staff, providing scholarships and licensing funding to area nursing students, meals and support to BMC nurses participating in a nearly 18-month strike, and specialized financial guidance to current and retired employees of Berkshire Health Systems, one of the county’s largest employers. BMM is also a preferred vendor of the Massachusetts Nurses Association and offers free seminars for BHS nurses and other healthcare staff, covering issues like retirement, healthcare, and financial planning.
